Fused Glass Drop Vase in Wrought Iron Stand
This small multicolored fused glass drop vase is approximately 4 inches tall and 3 inches wide at the top. Bright blue glass with strips of yellow, wihte and violet was used to form a small 3 1/2 inch circle of glass. This was placed on a special mold with a hole in the center while fiber ropes were placed under the glass to add dimension to the top. Heated to over 1300 degrees, as the glass softens it begins to stretch thru the hole in the mold until it reaches the desired length.
