Patchwork of Fused Glass Colors
 
Brightly colored pieces of glass, red, yellow and several shades of blue glass were fused together creating a patchwork of fused glass. Colored noodles, stringers and thin strips of black iridized glass were included adding an abstract pattern to the final fused glass piece. We used a special hexagonal shaped mold to create the final piece - heating the glass to 1250 degrees, allowing it to slump or fold to form a handkerchief style fused glass vase. 10 inches tall, the base is 3 inches wide.
